Q: Shipping and delivery details?

A: We offer both postal delivery, and door to door delivery via DHL. Unfortunately, international door to door shipping can be rather pricey, so our free shipping is only on a postal delivery basis. For faster delivery, you can select DHL shipping at an extra charge. Typical delivery times are as follows:

  • Free (Postal) Shipping: 15-30 working days.
  • DHL Shipping: Less than 5 working days.

Please note that these are simply estimates and customs delays can cause the shipping to take longer. We will provide a tracking number with your order so that you can monitor shipping progress.

Q: How is your relationship with your artists?

A: We have an excellent relationship with our artists. They do not "work for us", they are independent small business owners from whom we purchase the artworks. They are all fully informed as to our business model and are very excited to work with us because we are helping them expand their businesses.

Q: Can you source custom artworks?

A: Yes, we can source custom artworks. Please contact us with the specifics of the artwork you are looking for, and we will do our best to have the artwork made and shipped to you. We will only be able to provide a price and quotation for shipping after we have all of the details and have discussed the job with one of our artists.

Q: What are the lead times if you are out of stock?

A: Generally, if a specific piece is out of stock, we will be able to get more in less than 5 working days.

Q: Can I make a donation to your cause?

A: Yes, any donation you make will be distributed directly to the artists (after any transaction fees). But rather than making a donation, we encourage you to purchase a few artworks, this way, you receive a beautiful art piece, and support the artist. If you'd like to make a donation, please contact us and we can arrange a Paypal transfer.

Q: If I visit South Africa, can I meet the Artist?

A: Yes, this could be arranged. Please contact us to organize a visit. Please note that we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to visit a given artist on a given day.

Q: What if my package doesn't arrive?

A: We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the situation.

Q: Will the artwork look like the product picture?

A: While we work to ensure product consistency, please bear in mind that all of our artworks are individually hand made. Due to this, there may be some variations when comparing your artwork with the product photos on the website.
